Hawaiian Sunrise

This sunrise video was sped up 100x normal speed. I wish we could have seen the sun come up over Haleakala but it was somewhat overcast. We will be shooting video of the sunrise from on top of Haleakala tomorrow morning so stay tuned...

In the beginning...

I decided to create a blog because my brother Ted has one and it is a cool way to communicate what you are doing to people over the internet using pictures, movies, sound, and text. I am also awake at 4:40 in the morning in Hawaii waiting for the sun to rise and my wife to wake up. I think the greatest challenge will be to continue to update the blog with some disciplined consistency. I am not really a writer or an artist so my content will likely be limited. Maybe I can put some engineering equations on here or some thing.
